Enrolls in Valvoline Cup Championship
ALEXANDRIA, VA (April 14, 2002) At just over 120 competitors, the
Valvoline Cup Scaled Stock division will gain a boost from the participation of the
Miniature Motorsports Racing Association (MMRA), offering yet another means for MMRA
members to gain competition awards and prizes.
Sanctioning ½
scale racing since 1995, MMRA has made its mark for landing minicup racing on the Speed
Channel, and for sanctioning hundreds of races each year from Washington to
Florida. MMRA prides itself as a sanctioning body that
reaches out to fans, allowing them to get out of the stands and into the action. Costing about the same as a Jet Ski, a minicup
racecar is a safe, simple, and affordable solution for any fan that wants to try their
hand at driving. MMRA members range in age
from 10 to 72 years old, and compete on both asphalt and dirt tracks with their minicup
and Cyclone Dirt Late Model machines.

The Valvoline Cup is only the latest
