September 2006 - MMRA Newsletter
Hello Racers!
Although racing is almost finished for 2006, and the MMRA championships
are decided, there is still lots of work going on behind the scenes.
First, we have our annual awards banquet coming up November 4 in Nashville,
TN. I'm excited about this chance to recognize all our racers in
attendance, and look forward to seeing folks again. The banquet is at
the Lane Motor Museum which is also a fascinating place that I'm sure
everyone will enjoy.
Second, we are already at work on the 2007 schedule and it is coming
along well. More than ever before, we have many tracks that are
looking forward to hosting MMRA events, and we should be able to get a
schedule out within the next few months. Of course our Speedweeks
event is already booked for Bronson Motor Speedway on February 14-17 of
2007. This should be a great time because MMRA has rented the whole
facility to be able to provide maximum track time and good organization for
the events.
Third, the MMRA Competition Committee will be meeting over the next few
months to discuss all the possible ways we can improve MMRA in 2007.
If you have any ideas, please be sure to send an e-mail to
mmra@MMRAracing.com and we can add
your suggestion to the list.
It really is a busy time - but the effort will result in a great
2007 season for all our racers. Remember that this website is the
authority on MMRA. This is where you will always find the latest
accurate news and information about our events, rules, policies, etc.
Thank you for your support and best wishes for a great 2007 season!
