Steve Smith
1959 - 2008

Steve Smith, President of the IKO minicups passed away this past weekend at his home in Ohio.  Steve was the man who brought organization and leadership to the group which has been among the most successful in MMRA.  He put in countless hours to help build the sport, and all of us will miss his steady hand at the track.  Not only did Steve lead the IKO group, but he was a past member of the MMRA competition committee as well.  His contributions have helped MMRA racers nationwide to be able to enjoy racing on an even playing field.  Our prayers are with his family and Steve will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
