MMRA RACING NEWS - 2007 EDITION

Racers who attended the National Awards Banquet got the first look at the 2007 MMRA Racing News magazine.  The new edition features interviews and pictures with our 2006 champions, as well as the information new racers will need to get started in our sport.  For those who did not make it to the banquet, MMRA will be mailing a copy to our members this week.

MMRA produces the magazine primarily to help attract new racers to our sport.  We believe the best way to build our sport is to let more people know about it, and a printed magazine can reach people that wouldn't find out about MMRA any other way.

Thank you to all our racers who made this possible, and to our advertisers who helped defray some of the cost of producing this years edition.  We hope you enjoy the magazine and be sure to show it to other folks who may be interested in getting out of the stands and into the action of MMRA racing!

This year's edition focuses on safety by encouraging everyone to be prepared for "The Big One".  The cover photo is certainly an attention getter - and you can see more of that crash here.  Click here to watch an in-car camera view of the wreck.  It is a 17 MB file so it will take a long time to download if you have a slow connection.

For our members, if you have a car show or other event where you could distribute the magazines, please let us know and we can get you more copies.  We will only ask that you cover the shipping cost of the magazines we send to you.
